This is a photograph of a light sculpture called ‘Multiverse’ by Leo Villareal. It was installed in the concourse between the East and West wings of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. It features approximately 41,000 computer-programmed LED nodes that run through channels along the 200ft long space. More info here.
